Logizomechanophobia and Yoga

What is Logizomechanophobia?

Logizomechanophobia is the fear of computers. The origin of the word log is Greek (meaning talk or word), machano is Greek (meaning machine) and phobia is Greek (meaning fear). Logizomechanophobia is a specific phobia, wLogizomechanophobia is also related Cyberphobia (fear of computers or working on a computer) and Technophobia (fear of technology).

What are the causes?

It is generally accepted that phobias arise from a combination of external events (i.e. traumatic events) and internal predispositions (i.e. heredity or genetics). Many specific phobias can be traced back to a specific triggering event, usually a traumatic experience at an early age.  In Ayurveda people have a disposition to behaviours that are related to their dosha either Vata – Fear ; Pita – Anger; Kapha – Lack of motivation.
